What has your experience at Evergreen meant to your family?

• Evergreen has been an incredible place for our family! Our daughter is thriving and growing socially and academically in ways far beyond our expectations.

In what ways has your child grown (academically, socially, emotionally) since starting here?

• We have seen her blossom! Her comprehension and creativity has grown exponentially thanks to the care, creativity, and compassion the Evergreen teachers bring everyday to the classroom
• Since joining Evergreen, we have seen our reserved daughter THRIVE! Evergreen has met her exactly where she needs to be, and she has made leaps and bounds in the program. The teachers are all very communicative, accommodating and build strong relationships with the students. My daughter also has so much fun there! Evergreen offers ways for families to be involved, involves community organizations and individuals to offer enrichment in the classroom, and makes it a really pleasant experience for everyone.
• Our oldest is starting to read now and talk about math concepts! He also has become far more expressive than when he first started at Evergreen.
• Academically she’s nearly reading, and writing really well; socially she is confident in her communication with peers and adults and this has translated outside of school walls.
• Our kid has grown so much feeling comfortable in large groups, playing and sharing with others, and reading/writing the alphabet!
• At four-and-a-half, our son knows all of his letters, letter sounds, and is starting to recognize sight words and beginning to read. He also can do basic addition and subtraction and can find the continents on a map! It’s amazing! What we find even more valuable than these things is that he knows how to name his feelings, express his needs, show care for others, and correct behaviors and choices that he knows were not the best. Evergreen staff model these skills, read books that illustrate them, and patiently guide students through difficult social and emotional moments. These are skills that will serve our son his whole life and we are beyond grateful that the staff at Evergreen value these skills as much as we do.

What would you tell another parent who is considering Evergreen for their child?

• We have nothing but great things to say about Evergreen! Ever since our first tour, we knew our son would be in good hands. I cannot overstate how hard-working and dedicated the staff at Evergreen are. They amaze me and make the community the special place that it is!
• We’ve loved Evergreen and feel very lucky to have found this little gem!
• Evergreen gives kiddos a wonderful opportunity to grow both socially and academically in a safe community. I would highly recommend it.
• Evergreen fosters such a lovely sense of community where it’s clear that children are cared for well. It’s a great place for kids to learn and grow!
