About Us

Evergreen Montessori is a non-profit Montessori preschool that believes in furthering the emotional, social, intellectual, and physical development of our children in partnership with parents.

We serve children 33 months – school age. We offer a Montessori learning environment, including introductory Spanish, American Sign Language, as well as Stretch-N-Grow, a weekly physical education class. We are located within (although not affiliated with) St. James Lutheran Church in Crystal, MN.

Our History

1966 – North Hennepin Montessori School doors opens. The school is located within Valley of Peace Lutheran Church in Golden Valley, MN.

1973 – The school moves to its current location within St. James Lutheran Church in Crystal, MN.

2000 – North Hennepin Montessori School changes its name and becomes Evergreen Montessori.
